Burgundy Beaune 1er Cru
"Belissand"

The Maison Aegerter, located in Nuit-Saint-Georges, Côte-d’Or, is thriving in a region known for both its traditions and its innovations. The Aegerters believe that nature cannot be hurried. It must be listened to and pampered. All the vintages, from the most accessible to the most exceptional, have one thing in common: they are the outcome of a resolutely modern vision and dynamic. The best of Burgundy’s terroirs is well worth it. These passionate people are daring enough to leave the beaten track and offer all consumers, beginners and experts alike, carefully picked selections, new blends and different bottles.

This is a production and trading company whose hallmark is creativity. This characteristic, passed on down the generations, is in the Aegerter DNA. Like father, like son. The Chromatiques range is also available for the Aligoté, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Appellation
Beaune Premier Cru
Small differences appear, depending on the exact location. Wines from the Northern end of the commune are more often intense and powerful, and those from the southern end are smoother and fuller. A burgundian icon and capital of Bourgogne’s wine trade, Beaune takes centre place on the world stage during the annual Hospices de Beaune wine auction. The Hôtel-Dieu, built in the Flamboyant style, the huge silent cellars of the négociants houses, and the wine-growing domaines of the district all attract countless visitors. The Beaune vineyards are among the most extensive of the Côte. From here comes the Pinot vermilion of the Dukes of Bourgogne- a red wine, aromatic and full of fire, whose reputation goes back to the late Middle Ages. The whites, less common, make the best use of soils suited to the Chardonnay grape. The BEAUNE AOC was established in 1936.
